CHSAU
is not only a research institute but also a learning exchange center of
national and international Hui studies. After
becoming major research base of the Education Ministry, it Held "2000
International discussion conference on Hui Studies"
in which 120 national and international scholars took part. In November
2001, CHSAU also held "The Seminar of
Huizhou Documents" and invited researchers of well-known libraries
and museums in China to discuss the problems in the study of Huizhou
documents, deliberating over an important matter of making an all-round
arrangement of Huizhou historical documents. CHSAU also received a large number of national and international visit scholars and leaders at all levels. Zhang Baoqing, the Deputy Minister of Education Ministry, once came here to inspect CHSAU and inscribed for it. Famous physician, winner of Nobel Prize, Prof. Yang Zhenning visited the center and spoke highly of the value of Hui studies. He inscribed for encouragement. In the 21st
Century, with its extremely rich content of learning, Hui
studies will become an outstanding subject worldwide, which can be
compared with Dun Huang studies. |
